Mike and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary (hooray). Who would have thought 5 years ago when I married the love of my life I would have a 2 year old and another on the way. Life moves pretty fast!
We went to St. John and had one of the best trips ever. We slept in (until 8 am!) and thought of nothing more than: "what should we do today?" We missed Anne but got to chat with her every night.
Here's some photos...

The girl in blue...
Annie turned 2 at the end of March and all of a sudden there is barely any baby left! She really is a "big" girl now. Occasionally my baby resurfaces, but less and less. Anne is using full sentences now and her little brain is like a sponge absorbing everything. This morning we were looking for her bag and when we found it she yelled: "Michael, we found my bag!" Mike didn't find it as funny as I did, it made me realize how much she mimics me.
Here's some recent pics, Annie is still Mike's "twin" but I'd like to think there's a little of me represented!

Annie
We named our first child - Anne Catherine Walsh, nicknames: TDB. The whole time I was pregnant, I referred to her lovingly as "beanie" because she looked like a little bean in the beginning we waited to find out if we were having a boy or girl so the nickname "beanie" stuck. After Anne was born, we thought Anne or Annie and we went back and forth...she's settled that; the other day I asked her, "What's your name?" Her response: "ANNIE!" Well okay then!
As Annie rapidly approaches her 2nd birthday, I find myself nostalgic over the past two years, how wonderful they have been. I loved you before there ever was a you, Annie. Thank you for all you bring to my life. You, me and dad make a darn good team.
