So, I was doing a little research on making baby food, thought I might dabble a bit and see if I could make some meals for Anne in the upcoming months.
Here's a cool website: http://www.jacksharvest.com/
My pediatrician recommended this site (she and I had a LONG conversation about working moms...she had some great tips on how to keep up with eveything). It is a really neat site, they are having a tasting right down the
street from my house next weekend, I'm going to go and check it out. Seems like a really good idea, I'm jealous that these moms thought of it. It's a little more expensive than Gerber but not by much...I think they get you on the shipping. My moto is always - what a great idea, I think I can make that myself. So here goes...I found some really cute heart molds on Amazon: Lekue Silicone Ice Cube Tray. I also purchased a few books on baby food. The cool thing about these molds is,
1) I can control the food that goes in them, no preservatives, ect.
2) I can mix fruits and veggies once they pass the 3 day "test" with Anne.
3) They are super cute.
4) I can make a bunch at a time and freeze them up to 2 months, which is great for my busy schedule.
Everything should arrive this weekend, I'm going to give it a try...I'll let you know how it goes!
